Heritage Rajasthan Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi – The Capital City

Your wonderful sojourn in Rajasthan takes off from the heart of India – Delhi. On reaching the airport or train station, you will be welcomed warmly by our tour representative and helped with a hassle-free transfer to your hotel. Relax and freshen up after checking into the hotel. You can visit local markets based on your arrival time or indulge in a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing – Drive to Agra (210 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, get ready to explore the historic and modern marvels of Delhi. Begin with a visit to Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a drive past India Gate, President House, and Parliament House. Then explore Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Humayun’s Tomb, the forerunner of the Taj Mahal. Visit the stunning Lotus Temple for a peaceful end to your Delhi exploration. In the afternoon, drive to Agra through a scenic drive on Yamuna Expressway. Arrive and check-in into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 03: Agra Sightseeing – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (245 km / 5 hrs)

Start your day early with a dawn trip to the Taj Mahal, a stunning monument of eternal love and a winner in the Seven Wonders of the World contest. Return to the hotel to have breakfast. Subsequently, visit the awe-inspiring Agra Fort, a UNESCO heritage fort that speaks of Mughal glory, and then head to Mehtab Bagh for a tranquil view of the Taj. Post-lunch, head towards Jaipur. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the erstwhile Mughal capital famous for its beautiful architecture and Buland Darwaza. Move further to Jaipur, famously called the Pink City. Check-in at your hotel in Jaipur. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing – The Pink City

Visit the royal past of Jaipur after breakfast. Begin your day by visiting Amber Fort, where you can take an elephant or jeep ride up to the hilltop. Explore the intricately painted halls, courtyards, and Sheesh Mahal within the fort. Then proceed to City Palace, a grand fusion of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Proceed to Jantar Mantar, the largest stone sundial in the world, and drop in at the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for pictures. Drive past the peaceful Jal Mahal on the way. In the evening, you can indulge in a traditional Rajasthani dinner and folk dance program at Chokhi Dhani. Night stay at Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur – Ajmer – Pushkar (145 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, leave for Pushkar. Visit Ajmer en route, a city held in esteem by Hindus and Muslims alike. Discover the renowned Ajmer Sharif Dargah, one of India's most revered Islamic shrines, and enjoy a visit to the peaceful Ana Sagar Lake. Proceed to Pushkar, a sacred town famous for its Brahma Temple – the world's sole one of its sort – and the holy Pushkar Lake lined by ghats and temples. Check-in at your hotel and spend a serene evening. Overnight stay at Pushkar.

Day 06: Pushkar – Udaipur (275 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive through countryside and Aravalli hills to Udaipur, the "City of Lakes." On arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, take a boat cruise on Pichola Lake, with marvelous views of Jag Mandir, Jag Niwas (Lake Palace), and the city skyline. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 07: Udaipur Sightseeing – City of Lakes

Start your day by visiting the imposing City Palace, which stands on the shores of Lake Pichola, with its stunning courtyards, balconies, and museum. Proceed to Jagdish Temple, a well-carved Indo-Aryan temple. Then, go to the beautiful Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens) and the Fateh Sagar Lake, where a boat ride will take you to Nehru Garden. Discover Shilpgram, an arts and crafts village representing Rajasthan's cultural diversity. In the evening, watch a traditional cultural dance performance at Bagore Ki Haveli (optional). Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 08: Udaipur – Mount Abu (165 km / 3.5 hrs)

After morning breakfast, drive to Mount Abu, Rajasthan's sole hill station. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Explore the world-famous Dilwara Jain Temples with their beautiful marble carvings. Take a boating experience in Nakki Lake and drink in the sunset from Sunset Point that has a panoramic view of hills. Stay overnight in Mount Abu.

Day 09: Mount Abu – Jodhpur (260 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, the blue city of Rajasthan. Check into your hotel and rest. Enjoy your evening at leisure, strolling through the local bazaars of the old city, which have on offer handicrafts, silver jewelry, and spices. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 10: Jodhpur Sightseeing – The Blue City

Breakfast, then discover the royal city of Jodhpur. Start by visiting Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest forts and set high above the city. Explore the beautifully adorned palaces, courtyards, and museum within the fort. Then visit the lovely marble cenotaph Jaswant Thada and the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace, part royal residence and part heritage hotel. Visit the lively Clock Tower Market and marvel at the blue-painted houses in the historic city. Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur – Departure

Breakfast, followed by transfer to Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station for onward journey. Depart with fond memories of your Heritage Rajasthan Tour, rich in culture, royalty, and architectural wonders.
